Our childcare and supervision services provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment where participants can enjoy recreational, social, and developmental activities tailored to their needs. These services help support families by offering reliable care outside regular school hours and during pedagogical days.

Summer Camp 2026 Registration
To register for our 2026 Summer Camp, please follow the steps below:
a. Download and complete the standardized information form.
b. Complete the consent form authorizing the sharing of information between organizations that provide adapted summer camp services.
c. Complete the registration form and submit it along with the standardized information form and all relevant supporting documents (e.g., official diagnostic reports, intervention plans, medical documentation, etc.).
We encourage families to provide complete and up-to-date information to help us assess each participant’s needs and ensure the most appropriate support possible.
Specialized services
Eligibility Criteria
Ages 0–5: Children with intellectual disabilities, multiple or profound disabilities (multi/polyhandicap), various medical conditions, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Ages 6–21: Children and youth with intellectual disabilities, multiple or profound disabilities (multi/polyhandicap), various medical conditions, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) when accompanied by an intellectual disability.
Participants must reside with their biological, adoptive, or foster family.
Due to the vulnerability of the individuals we serve and the limitations of our environment, we are unfortunately unable to provide services that adequately meet the needs of young people who present significant behavioral challenges. This criterion also applies if such behaviors emerge during the provision of services.

To register for our specialized services, please follow the steps below:

Adult Services
Our organization is proud to offer Le Sentier, a day program providing socio-professional and community-based activities for adults aged 21 and older living with multiple disabilities.Please note that the registration period for the 2026–2027 program year closes on April 19, 2026 (inclusive). Organization description
Fireflies’ Homes is a non-profit organization driven by its values of openness to differences, dedication, adaptability, and professionalism. It provides specialized and evolving services to individuals with multiple disabilities. As part of its commitment to expanding its services, the organization has developed a new program for adults. This initiative complements its existing respite care, day care, emergency support, and adapted recreational services for individuals aged 0 to 21 by offering a community-based and educational service for adults aged 21 and over.
Service objectives
Support Families: Support parents and caregivers in their caregiving role, helping individuals remain within their natural family environment for as long as possible.
Promote Social Inclusion: Provide a space where adults with multiple disabilities can interact, share experiences, develop social relationships, and maintain active participation in community life.
Foster Personal Development and Independence: Offer activities that promote the development of personal, social, vocational, and independent living skills.
Encourage Community Participation: Organize outings, community events, and collaborative projects with other organizations to encourage engagement and contribution to the local community.
Clientele
Adults aged 21 and over living with an intellectual disability. The intellectual disability may be accompanied by:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Multiple or profound disabilities (multi-disabilities/polyhandicap)
- Specific physical and health conditions (epilepsy, gastrostomy feeding, etc.)

Long-Term Respite and Ongoing Support Services – living environment
We work closely with families, communities, and professional teams to meet the needs of children and youth living with multiple disabilities, complex needs, or specialized medical conditions.
In partnership with social service organizations serving Indigenous communities in Northern Quebec, we provide an adapted living environment in Southern Quebec. This service is designed to improve access to specialized medical care, adapted educational services, and the support resources needed to foster the development, well-being, and quality of life of each child and youth.
In collaboration with the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) and the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), we also offer short-term respite stays for First Nations and Inuit children, youth, and their families. These stays provide a trusted, safe, and supportive environment where participants benefit from meaningful activities, social interaction, and individualized care. At the same time, families and caregivers are provided with valuable opportunities for rest, renewal, and self-care, helping to strengthen their well-being and capacity to support their loved ones.

Our services are available to children and youths who present:
- Intellectual disabilities;
- Multiple or profound disabilities (multi/poly-disabilities);
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) paired with other cited condition
- Various medical conditions requiring specialized support.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we must consider both the vulnerability of the individuals we serve and the limitations of our environment. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide services that adequately meet the needs of youth who present significant behavioral challenges or behaviors that may compromise their own safety or the safety of others. This criterion also applies if such behaviors emerge during the provision of services.
